Why Breezeway

A quieter kind of sailing

Crew with local knowledge

The team has sailed these waters across seasons. They know where the reefs clear up after rain, which bays hold shelter when the afternoon wind arrives, and how to read the gulf's moods.

Food that belongs at sea

Every charter includes prepared food on board — Thai breakfasts, fresh lunches, and cold drinks. Dietary preferences are discussed before departure and accommodated where possible.

Well-maintained vessels

Each boat in the fleet is serviced on a regular schedule and inspected before every departure. Equipment is checked, safety gear is stocked, and the vessel is cleaned between charters.

Flexible pace

There is no fixed itinerary beyond the general route. If passengers want to spend more time at anchor, the schedule adjusts. The trip is theirs to shape within the day's sailing window.

Starting from Lamai Beach

The departure point at Lamai Beach is easy to reach from most parts of Koh Samui. Detailed directions and a meeting point are confirmed when the charter is booked.

Safety without fuss

The crew holds current marine safety certifications. Life jackets, flares, and first aid supplies are on board at all times. A brief safety overview is given before departure.

Before You Go

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should I book a charter?

For single-day charters, a few days' notice is usually sufficient, though weekends and peak periods fill quickly. Multi-day voyages benefit from at least one to two weeks of lead time, as provisioning and diving coordination require preparation. Reaching out earlier gives more scheduling flexibility.

What happens if the weather is rough?

The crew monitors sea and wind conditions closely before each departure. If conditions are unsuitable, the charter is postponed and rescheduled at no additional charge. Departures are never made in conditions that would compromise comfort or safety. Occasional adjustments to the route are common and always communicated.

How many people can join a charter?

Capacity varies by vessel and charter type. Generally, day charters accommodate between four and eight passengers comfortably. Multi-day voyages with cabin arrangements depend on the specific boat. When making an enquiry, mention the group size and we will match you to the right vessel.

Is any sailing experience required?

No sailing background is needed. The crew handles all navigation and boat management. Passengers are welcome to ask questions, observe, or simply relax. Those who want to participate more actively can ask the crew — there are usually moments where helping with lines or the helm is easy and welcome.

What should I bring on board?

Sunscreen, a hat, and light clothing work well. Swimwear is useful for snorkeling stops. Soft-soled shoes are preferred to protect the deck. Food and beverages are included, but personal medication or specific items should be brought along. Detailed packing notes are shared when the charter is confirmed.

Is the price per person or for the whole boat?

All charter prices are for the full vessel, not per person. The morning sail is ฿10,000, the Koh Phangan crossing is ฿24,000, and the multi-day voyage is ฿29,000 per day. This means the per-person cost decreases as the group grows, making shared charters quite reasonable.
